MAJENLI LAMANCHAS

The Majenli herd was originally started in 1988 and has gone through many changes.

Majenli LaManchas is currently rebuilding a small dairy/show herd of select, quality animals here in upstate New York

Majenli is being rebuilt from the Lucky Star genetics. We previously owned Lucky Star Java whom we had purchased from Lucky Star several years ago as a kid. Java was sold to Pete Snyder who has given her a wonderful home and taken her on to bigger and better things. We currently have two of Java' granddaughters as our foundation does that are sired by Majenli WFS Lakota

Our goal is to breed structurally correct animals that can milk, show, have kidding ease, and are basically low maintenance. The LaManchas are vaccinated with CD/T and BoSe, feet are trimmed on a regular basis, and parasites are treated on an as needed basis.

We have tested the herd for the past three years for CAE with a negative LaMancha herd result. We plan to continue testing on an annual basis for at least the next several years as we strive to maintain this negative status.
